Common date

The Ministry will advise the common date for the upcoming mid-term elections 2023.  

By-elections may be called from time to time to fill one or more casual vacancies.

We prepare the Electoral Roll

We apply an electronic cross-checking system to authenticate contact details on the electoral roll.

We Call for Nominations via email

Candidates know their nomination has been received because we give them an immediate receipt.

We count your votes (including arranging the process if scrutineers are called for).

The school board sets the date for a by-election.

The exact date for each school triennial election is set by the school board within the timeframe provided by the Ministry of Education.
